HD Radio: A New Wave for Digital Radio

My husband and I are planning to get a new HDTV because ours is an old one. We heard that by the year 2009 all analog TV will be face out but some can still use it by getting a HD receiver. His friends are telling him to get also an HD Radio Receiver so we can update our radio at home and also our car radio. He said that it is better than analog radio because it has better reception, digital and most of all Free with no subscription fee.

He invited us to his house last time to show us his stereo in his living room and he played all of his favorite music using HR Radio. The sounds was great and there were no interruption, no station drop off and the quality of the sounds is great as if we are listening to his iPod tagging

He told us that it was introduced to him by one of his friends who are living in Texas right now. His friend is enjoying his Texas High Definition Radio stations so my husband likes the idea of getting a HD Radio because he loves to play music while he is working on his bikes and enjoy listening to his HD Radio every now and then.
